Secondary Heads Welcome

Secondary Heads Welcome

It is an honour for me to be the Head of Secondary at Victoria English School.  I am proud to be working with such an excellent teaching staff who are well-qualified, committed and enthusiastic.

Victoria English School has always been a happy school and a close community.  We are striving to create a learning environment which is safe, harmonious and meets the needs of all students.  Our students show respect and common courtesy to both the teaching and non-teaching staff. VES has students from wide-ranging and diverse backgrounds, who always tolerate and celebrate each other’s cultures and opinions.
The school promotes a positive attitude towards academic studies both in class and at home. A good work ethic is vital for every student to reach their potential and ultimately be successful in their IGCSEs, A levels and go on to study at their chosen university.
In Key Stage 3 (years 7-9) students follow the British National Curriculum, which at Key Stage 4 and 5 (years 10-13) students following (I)GCSE and GCE AS and A Level courses. Final examinations are externally assessed through Edexcel
Our aim is that every student will leave the school well-equipped with the skills and qualifications required to be successful in a competitive world, but also to be confident, compassionate and decent global citizens.
